SlashnGrab 1

Working on a new character.

Her name is Slash’n’Grab, a reference to her alt mode being a manipulator crane that’s equipped with a hydraulic chainsaw instead of the standard lifting scoop. It’s also a horrible pun. I still haven’t worked out her color scheme and I’m also still working on Her personality and backstory. Though, the one bit I do have is that she considers herself Sledge’s little sister and she’s embarrassed by her older brother’s insistence that he’s a combiner.

For those unfamiliar with LDD (Lego Digital Designer), the chain/tread bits only attach to themselves for some reason. Hence, the lack of a chain on that saw.
This model does transformer with some very minor parts forming (4 pieces, technically 5 but I forgot to flip the saw around). And there’s one particular thing that the drawn character model can do that just can’t be engineered into Lego unless I were to work on a MUCH larger scale (leaderclass scale).

I’ve been wanting to do a transformer with a trencher alt mode for some time now (only recently found out what they’re even called), but I haven’t had any decent designs (don't let that stop you from trying). And then I saw the grabby crane at work a few weeks back. So, I decided to combine the two.
