I guess this would go under "other art" and "abstract".

Anyways, this is a simple replacement alphabet with a twist. The point of this piece is indeed a contest. Who ever can guess the corresponding English letter sequence to this piece gets a free line art pic commission from me (no backgrounds, yaoi, guro, futa, slash, or pedo).

I'll give you two hints because I'm nice:

1) the characters with circles are "a", "e", "i", "o", "u", and "y", but not in that order.

2) groups of characters that have similar shapes match groups of English letters that have similar sounds.

EDIT: the first hint is sort of an example of the second hint. The second hint is the key. After you figure out the symbol groups, you can figure out the letter groups. Also, I reworded the second hint to make it more clear. That's all the help I'll give.

NOTE ME YOUR ANSWER OTHERWISE IT WILL NOT COUNT!!!

EDIT: I changed one of the characters. For those of you who can recognize which was changed, this is my final hint; the character that was changed represents "Z"

Don't worry about it. You'll get it eventually. Like I said, think about the letters that sound alike (BIG HINT). From there, it's just guessing which set of letters matches which symbol set. No, the symbols aren't organized in their sets, that'd be too easy.

Actually, I just got lazy. I drew this at 3:00AM based on the code that appeared in the dream I had just woken up from.

I lost the freaking key, and I've almost re-cracked my own code.

Have you had any luck with it?

I actually retooled two of the characters and need to update it. BTW Ifigured the puzzle back out. Once I remembered "F' and "v" it was a snap.

Just try sounding out the letters and grouping them by their sound, then do the same with the symbols.
