Got an ask on tumblr about how useful those big feet of hers are it it inspired this. At some point, she was a guard at some Decepticon research base and they had a problem with the rather fast and resilient local organics getting in and stealing stuff. The long feet would help make up for the shortness of her legs and actually make her faster than she would be with more proportional feet.

That grabber arm from her altmode comes in handy, too.

Why doesn't she just shoot it? Because those two beakers contain VERY valuable research which she'd get dismantled for losing. Needless to say, that space bigfoot doesn't fair terribly well once she's caught it. Don't worry, she makes him a clunky metal leg replacement.
